FOUR PLANS RELATED TO CLEAN ENERGY AND CLIMATE CHANGE TODAY BY THE CLIMATE CHANGE INTERAGENCY COUNCIL. THIS ALL STEMS FROM EXECUTIVE ORDER 80 —- WHICH COOPER SIGNED LAST YEAR. THE ORDER REAFFIRMS WHAT COOPER CALLS THE STATE’S COMMITMENT TO FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE AND LEAD NORTH CAROLINA TO CLEAN ENERGY ECONOMY. COOPER IS LOOKING TO REDUCE GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS… INCREASE THE NUMBER OF ZERO EMMISSION VEHICLES… AND REDUCE ENERGY CONSUMPTION IN STATE OWNED BUILDINGS. “in order for us to succeed, our solutions cant have a party label, our solutions have to be based in science, data, facts” THE PLANS PRESENTED WERE THE CLEAN ENERGY PLAN —- THE Z-E-V PLAN. THE MOTOR FLEET Z- E-V PLAN. AND THE CLEAN ENERGY AND CLEAN TRANSPORTATION WORKFORCE ASSESSMENT.
